Founder & Principal Consultant
Dr. Gregory J. Harris is a family scientist and the founder of HDNA Innovations. His research and practice examine inequities in the psycho-social and health status of ethnically diverse families across the life course, with a particular focus on mid-life and older populations.
Within the context of family and community, his scholarship investigates family stress, violence, mental health, substance abuse, and chronic disease prevention. He translates that work into applied strategy for non-profits, foundations, public agencies, and community coalitions through consulting, grant writing, program evaluation, leadership development, and strategic innovation and planning.
His experience spans university-based research, community-engaged scholarship, and partnerships with public and private organizations committed to advancing healthy lifestyles, culture, and positive longevity for families and communities.
